That's 15 members logging in, in 24 hours, and they had to go to the home page to do that. Therefore 38 non-members visited the home page in that period.

So I take it the hits aren't members logging in to what's new? I tend to log in and check the latest posting on a daily basis.

    Dave,

Probably 95% of those visits are just causal browsing. That is people with an interest but are in no way committed. What would be an interesting statistic would be how many come here via Google searches. That info must be available, I must just look into how to access it. Maybe via Google analytics?

Interesting to note that over the past 24 hours 8 people based in New Zealand have accessed the site. Would seem to imply that on a per capita basis, New Zealand must have more people interested in junk rigs than any other country :-)

You may have noticed that I've put "ClustrMap" counters on the home page and on the top members page. They not only give the number of visits, but also from which country, and whereabouts in that country.
It's interesting to me to see that in the previous 24 hours, there were 53 visits to the home page, from 20 different countries, and 15 visits to the members pages, from 6 different countries. People are finding us, now that the old website is no longer active, and the new website appears at the top of the page when you Google for 'junk rig'. But they're not joining us - yet. Why is that, I wonder?
